It is hard, especially now that we have switched roles and I work while he is home with the kids. It is also scary and a difficult transition for him who was the provider. But for your children you figure out a way to make it work even if you aren't always sure what the next step is.MamaOtwins+1https://www.blogger.com/profile/18185644439047811448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-817233486139122611.post-43616903879687207042009-08-14T02:12:23.228-04:002009-08-14T02:12:23.228-04:00i love the advice above! i've never even thoug...i love the advice above! i've never even though of that! i hope that things start looking up soon. you're in our prayers!!Aliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08661482257470326487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-817233486139122611.post-91375995995813271182009-08-13T21:37:59.148-04:002009-08-13T21:37:59.148-04:00My husband's last day of work (before the move...My husband's last day of work (before the move) was yesterday, and today was our first packing day together. I buy bare minimum school supplies to make the kids feel equipped but not overloaded. Also, I wait until halfway thru the year to offer the Kleenex cause' that's about the time they run out of all the stuff the other people brought in.

Tell the truth...did you knock over Tommy's coffee cup to maybe get a point across? We do not send in kleenex or wipes unless the kids actually get asked for them by their teacher. And..

The teachers put way more on the list than they even need. I have tried to tell them that the parents should just get a list of the absolute essentials. Not stuff that they "might" need. SO wait! Wait until asked for it. I have not even bought a new pencil yet. We have a few and a couple decent notebooks from last year. They do not need new notebooks and bookbags.

....
